Our investigation of the USS Little Rock went very well. Despite nightmare parking scenarios due to Wing Fest and a series of downtown concerts we managed to get our group together in time for an exclusive tour of the Little Rock, including many sections of the ship not open to the general public. We got our equipment on board and were set up and ready to begin by the time the concerts ended.

The steel structure of the ship played havoc with our wireless audio and walkie-talkies all night but the investigation turned out to be worth every unforeseen difficulty. Our recently departed investigator Alex wasn’t able to join us after all but we welcomed four guests to join us, two or three of whom are interested in joining the group. We hope to add them to the group very soon.

Almost everyone involved in the investigation had some kind of personal experience. These ranged from moving cold spots to direct communication via dowsing rods (also captured on video tape). We’re still in the process of reviewing the raw data but we hope to have the summary for this investigation up in a more timely fashion than we have in the past. We at STRIPE would like to thank the Naval Park and especially Chief Engineer John for the hospitality and access to the ship shown to us during our visit. We hope to schedule a follow-up investigation as the Little Rock proved to be too large for us to completely explore and investigate all in one night. STRIPE also hopes to conduct a few more investigations before the end of the year. More news on these as it becomes available.

Addendum: STRIPE is pleased to welcome Investigators-In-Training Marcia and Stacy to the group. Both participated in the investigation aboard the Little Rock and have earned their places in STRIPE. Review of the collected evidence continues and should be completed over the weekend. So far the only noteworthy evidence captured has been the video of the dowsing rods. We still have the audio and the DVR footage to review. The summary will be posted when the review of evidence is complete.
